Had they wanted me to load one more load, I would not have had the $800 for fuel and would have had to borrow from my dear old dad to do it.
He would have done it I'm sure but he doesn't like to loan money and I don't blame him.
He feels like you should have your own money and he is right.
It is me doing the gambling and speculating not him.
He does things sensibly.

That said, you can bet your shorts he would have wired a thousand dollars to my bank account if I had needed it.
He's a great guy dad.

He really took good care of ma and me and Patty and my brothers.
He's a North Dakota farmer and just about as relaxed and easy going and good natured as they come and with a great sense of humor.
But anyway I made it without having to borrow or bounce checks or get behind on my credit cards.
Today pays off my credit cards and then the next seven thousand goes to pay for my truck.
From there I'm home free and looking to make some wages and profit.
My diet is working perfectly.
