As of right now.
A conscious decision.
The boredom was killing me.
Not really but it was getting harder and harder.
I'm not really zero carb anyway.
Just low low carb.
I just got home from the store.
Butter $2 a pound,
I bought six pounds and put five in my freezer.
Bacon 2# for $7
Dill Pickles One gallon $7
McCormick Onion Flakes 16 ounces $10
McCormic Garlic Powder 16 ounces $7
McCormic Parsley Flakes 8 ounces $6
Morton Canning Salt 4# $2
Romane Tomatoes $1.49 pound 5# $7.50
Hellmann's Mayonnaise 2 quart jar $8
Daisy Sour Cream 32 ounces $5
American Cheese 3# $10
Horse Radish 16 ounces $4
Yellow Mustard 24 ounces $3
Wild Caught Cod Fish Filets 2# $8
Pork Rinds 6 ounces $3.50
Jumbo Eggs 2 dozen $4
Picante Salsa 64 ounces $7
$6 back on my Blue American Express.
So I'm salt and seasonings and low low carb again.
I already have 5# of onions and two heads of garlic and 2# of India Tellicherry Black Pepper Corns for grinding.
I grind as I go.
Instead of omelets I have what I call egg scrambles.
The same thing.
Meat and eggs and onions and garlic and tomatoes sautéed and topped with American Cheese Slices and then Salsa and Sour Cream.
A Spanish Scramble.
Probably fifty carbs.
Sometimes a hundred.
A lot of my meals will still be zero carb.
I will snack a little and eat two meals a day instead of one whenever I feel like it.
There is nothing wrong with what I was doing and many people do it that way for life.
Most using salt and seasonings.
I will be monitoring myself as to how I feel and how my weight is doing on a constant and continuous basis.
If things start to go bad I will tighten up once again.
I ate some pork rinds and two tomatoes dipped in mayonnaise and a pickle.
My first carbs in two months.
Tomorrow is a hamburger scramble with everything.
My low carb omelet.
I might bring my Wild Rice and Wild Rice Flour back in sporadically.
Always water only to drink.
It's 1:00 AM in there morning here, just after midnight.
I am dry and guzzling water.
About a pint.
I slept for a few hours.
I had two pickles yesterday evening after I got home from the store, they weren't that good.
I ate a bunch of the pork rinds on the way home from the store, they weren't that good at all.
I ate three romaine tomatoes dipped in mayonnaise two times.
They were really good.
Cold and juicy and good.
I ate six ounces of Bogards American Cheese Slices, twice.
12 ounces in all.
They were just OK good.
Nothing really spectacular.
The pickles and the pork rinds I won't buy again.
I got heartburn and I'm drinking more water.
The salt I'm sure.
Pickles, cheese and pork rinds.
Maybe the acid in the tomatoes.
I'm not sorry I went back to seasonings.
Just not that much all at once is all.
I'm still holding to low low carb with just this slight variation.
Trial and error.
Finding what's best.
I'm sure I'm ok.
I'm good at this.
I have been doing this for a long time.
It's all of the real carbs and sugars that I'm craving.
Blue Bunny Butter Pecan Ice Cream and Little Debbie, Nutty Buddy Chocolate Wafer Bars.
Toasted English Muffins with gobs of real butter and peanut butter or raspberry jam.
Ton's of all of these and more.
I'm not giving in to those.
My heart is hurting a little.
