I just ate six fried eggs cooked in the grease left over from my rib steaks the other day.
It wasn't that much grease but enough with my no-stick griddle on my gas cook stove to have them not stick very much at all.
Just a little.
Eggs suck up grease like there is no tomorrow.
That has always interested me.
Almost like they are life and feeding on the fat.
If you got lots and lots of fat you can over saturate them but it takes quite a bit.
So fried eggs with nothing on them.
Over easy or over medium.
They tasted great.
My hamburger was to frozen to cut into patties so it is sitting on the counter thawing some more for a bit later so I decided to just fry the eggs ahead of time because I was hungry.
This no salt no seasonings of any kind is an interesting experiment.
I'm trying to find a way to not fall off the wagon and binge on sugar and carbohydrates ever again.
My weight is dropping nicely.
Slowly but nicely.
I can see the 248# that I was down to several years ago.
It's still about 30# less than I am right now but I can see it in the horizon and on the dial of my scale and on my clothes.
278# is what I weighted after my first series of binges after getting down to 248#
It's been about three years now getting back to that 278# I was when I came back from Texas with my truck that winter.
I had went up to as high as 310#.
Starting weight in October of 2006 370#.
It's been a long hard battle.
Nothing to it if you don't let it get away from you but I have always let it get away from me about every six months or so.
Just days or weeks and I always get right back on but I pay severely for these binges.
Cravings and taste buds go hand and hand I think.
I have been zero salt and zero seasonings for about a month now.
These eggs tasting good is a milestone for me.
Our taste buds want salt and seasonings as well as sugar and carbohydrates.
Fat and meat to but along with the others.
I'm hoping my taste buds adjust and come back to normal over time.
It takes months I know that.
Salt and seasonings are completely unnatural.
Just like sugar and milk and juice and hybrid carbohydrates like we routinely consume them.
Me the guiana pig.
You the benefactor if you can see the reality in what I'm doing here.
