I had an appointment to meet a lady I bought an iPhone 4s from, off from Craigslist.
$100 with an Otterbox Case and Home Charger and Cigarette Lighter Charger and with the box and headphones and in perfect shape.
A good deal for a good phone.
Almost as good as the newer stuff.
I also got a case for my iPad Air 2 for $10 also off from Craigslist.
I got a metal shelf from Dakota Boys Ranch Thrift Store for another $10.
The big hit though was steaks from Costco.
$7.39 a pound for a boneless ribeye steak loin.
About fifteen pounds.
Then I got a New York Strip in a full uncut strip.
$6.99 a pound.
About eleven pounds.
The first time I had tried these.
I have looked at them several times in the past without buying.
Cut up and trimmed Ribeye Steaks and New York Steaks were $9.99 a pound.
So I saved something like $3 a pound plus I get 6% back on my American Express Blue Card.
A little over $12 saved there after I bought a four pack of Zip Lock Freezer Bags to go with it for $12.
A little over $200 for everything.
The zip lock bags were free.
Question now would be how good of steaks they are.
My Ribeyes came in at about $6.90 a pound after rebates.
My New York Strips about $6.50 a pound.
I was starving but didn't eat.
No samples, no nothing.
I fought it all day.
I got home later today and proceeded to cut up my steaks for freezing and started cooking.
They are beautiful.
Loaded with fat.
You can't buy steaks like that with all the fat.
They always trim them heavily of fat.
These steaks got gobs of fat.
All over them and marbled in to go with it.
I put two great big ribeyes on my griddle on full high heat as I was cutting up the rest of the steaks.
They were smoking and burning beautifully when I came in from outside where I was cutting up my meat.
I quickly turned them over and then burned and scorched them on the other side.
Two gas burners on my griddle on full high heat.
Zero seasonings or salt.
The way the restaurants always serve them.
They were stunningly good.
Out of this world good.
About medium or medium rare on the inside and burnt a little on the outside.
Sharply browned on both sides on high heat and for quite a while.
Pretty thick steaks.
I'm in hog heaven.
I love it.
I have great steaks again and at affordable prices.
My food was getting boring.
Not with these steaks.
I have two New York's for tomorrow morning in the refrigerator.
I fought hard all day not to eat and didn't.
From now on I am going to carry my portable Coleman propane gas stove and a pan with me.
Just pull over somewhere appropriately and cook up.
Like I do when I'm driving truck.
I can go to the rest area if I need too.
These were some of the best steaks I have ever had in my life.
Possibly the best.
I'm still in hog heaven and I got two more for tomorrow and anytime I want them from here on out.
With eggs I can eat these everyday of my life if I want too.
$350 a month.
50# of these steaks a month.
That's a lot of money to be sure.
